Single shape puzzles
This set of single puzzles consists of: Small circle, large circle,square and equilateral triangle.
Purpose: introduce the child to puzzle. Steps to introduce the child to puzzles.
Step 1: introduce the activities that develop pincer grip such as knobbed cylinder blocks
Step 2: introduce the child to puzzle. It is best to start with a single shape puzzle from the easier to the toughest (circle, then square then triangle).
Step 3: introduce multiple shape puzzles or single shaped puzzles with different gradients/sizes once they have mastered the single shape puzzle. Then, introduce the more complex puzzles like the shape of vehicles or animals.
